Plow Town: Snow Clear - the trailer

The game

A snow plow game for one finger

Fresh snow has buried the whole town, and the plow is yours. Put a finger down, drag where you want to go, and the snow curls off your blade while clean black road with a yellow line appears behind it. Coins pop out of the snow as you go.

Levels are short, about a minute each, and made for quick breaks. Clear the streets, driveways and parking lots; when a street is clean, its lamps light up. The first five levels have no fuel and cannot be lost. From level 6 your tank is limited, and a fuel can in the snow is worth the detour.

Drag to driveTouch anywhere. The plow drives where you point.
Lift to stopThe plow brakes, and no fuel burns while it stands.
Keep it flowingLong clean runs build a FLOW combo, up to x5, and coins pay more while it lasts.

Gameplay

Straight from the game

Captured from the game itself, at a phone's shape.

Clear a street and the lamps come on behind you. Clear a whole level and the camera rises over the town, so you see the clean roads you made.

What is inside

Plow. Upgrade. Paint it. Plow more.

30

Levels in two towns

Twenty levels in snowy Maple Suburbs by day, then ten in Downtown at dusk, with parked cars, hydrants and mailboxes to drive around, snowmen to knock down, people who hop out of your way, cones, ice and deep drifts.

In every ten levels, the fifth is a Bonus Lot (double coins, no fuel), the ninth a hard street, and the tenth a Big Clean, with a big moment at the end.

Upgrades you feel

Four upgrades: a wider Blade, a faster Engine, a bigger Tank and more coins from Income. Each card shows what it does for you before you buy it, and the first one costs only 100 coins.

Four plows

Start with the Orange Plow. The fast Pickup Plow is a gift at level 10. The wide City Grader and the deep-snow Monster Plow unlock with coins, or with truck parts found in gifts, star chests and the Key Room.

13 paint jobs

Twelve colours and stripes, and a gold one from the daily calendar. Fill the paint bar by winning levels to earn the next one, or buy a paint if you want it now.

Coins, gifts and keys

Coins, gifts and fuel cans hide in the snow, and from level 11 so do keys. Collect three to open the Key Room: nine boxes, three free picks. Stars fill star chests.

Something waiting when you are back

A seven-day daily reward calendar, and from level 8 an overnight crew that clears snow while you are away, with its coins waiting for you (up to six hours' worth).

Nothing to sign in to

No account, no chat. Your progress is saved on your phone, and the levels, the garage and the upgrades all work offline.

FAQ

Asked and answered

Where can I get Plow Town?

For Android phones, on Google Play. Status: Coming soon on Google Play. It is free to download, and it needs Android 6.0 or newer.

Is it free? Are there ads or purchases?

It is free to play, and it is paid for with ads and optional purchases, so please know both before you start.

Ads. A full-screen ad can come after a level, never while you are driving. The game also shows a banner on its screens and, when you come back to it after a while away, an ad. And you can choose to watch a video for a reward: for example to triple a level's coins, to get fuel and keep going, or to get an upgrade for free. Nothing makes you watch those.

Purchases. All are one-time purchases through Google Play, from US$0.49 (Google Play shows the price for your country): No Ads (US$0.99), a Starter Pack with three paints and 1,500 coins (US$0.99), and single paint jobs (US$0.49, or US$0.99 for the special ones). Every paint can also be earned by playing, and plows cannot be bought at all: you unlock them in the game.

Can I get rid of the ads?

Yes. No Ads removes the full-screen ads, the banner and the ad on return, for good. The reward videos stay, because you choose them. Restore purchases in the game's settings gives it back after a reinstall.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account, no sign-in, no chat. The levels, the garage and the upgrades all work offline. Only the ads, and the analytics described in the privacy policy, need a connection.

Where is my progress saved?

On your phone only. There is no cloud save, and Android's automatic backup is switched off for the game. If you uninstall it or clear its data, the progress is gone; your purchases come back with Restore purchases.

What does it collect about me?

No name, no email, no location. The ads libraries of Google AdMob and Unity Ads use your phone's advertising ID, and Firebase tells us how the game is played and why it crashes, without naming you. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked about ads before any is shown. Everything is in the privacy policy, and here is how to delete it.

Will it send me notifications?

Only if you allow them (Android 13 and later asks after you have played a few levels): at most one a day: in the first week after you install, and after that only on days you have played. They are set up on your phone, and you can switch them off in Android's settings for the game.

Who is it for?

Anyone who likes a calm, satisfying game with quick levels. There is nothing scary or violent in it, but it shows ads and sells things for real money, so it is made for players 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.

Which languages and phones?

English for now. Android phones, held upright; it is built to run on modest phones too.
